CHOUQUETTE {shoo-ket} CHOCOLATES
Custom designed, handmade, small-batch chocolates filled with vanilla sea salt caramel, or a selection of other flavors. Sarah owns Chouquette, and was looking for freelance designers to design her chocolates, and I put my hand up! Who doesn't want to design chocolate? FREDERICK COUNTY DSWR - WINNER!
Shortly after moving to Maryland, I scrolled past a random post for a logo design contest for the Frederick County Division of Solid Waste and Recycling. I follow their social media because whoever is doing it- does a solid job. It's pretty entertaining! Anyway, on a random whim, I thought, sure why not submit a design, not expecting anything to come of it. Well, the contest ended, and and a few weeks later I was contacted-- yours truly was the winner! I couldn't believe it! Proud to have made a little creative impact here in Frederick County, MD, and smile everytime I get something in the mail, or drive past a billboard with my logo!
WEDDINGS
MAY JO + HAYDEN | 12.21.2019
I love Christmas weddings! I was approached by Patricia, at Your Plan A Events, to design a wedding invitation suite for May Jo + Hayden...at a Christmas tree farm! The theme was pampas leaves + evergreen trees, and it took place at the Fish River Christmas Tree Farm. The entire stationary suite was printed, hand cut and assembled by me. It was the first time I'd ever made the envelopes by hand, because I couldn't find the exact color I wanted to match!
